Donna's Story
Hi, I’m Donna — the hands, heart, and creative force behind Donna’s Desserts. I specialise in bite-sized wedding desserts, elegant dessert towers, and beautifully curated dessert tables across Geelong, Bellarine, Ballarat, and surrounding areas. My goal is simple: to create desserts that are visually stunning, delicious, and effortless for your guests to enjoy, so you can relax and focus on celebrating. My love of baking started at just three years old, standing beside my mum in the kitchen. Her passion and creativity inspired me, and even after she passed in 2016, her influence lives on in every recipe I make. Some are hers, some are inspired by her, and all carry the joy and love of those early kitchen moments. I made my first wedding desserts for my best friend in 2018, and it sparked a love for creating desserts for life’s most meaningful moments. Since then, I’ve baked for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and celebrations of all kinds, refining my signature style: fresh, bite-sized desserts that look beautiful and are effortless to enjoy. After taking a break during COVID, I returned in 2023 with a clear focus on weddings and events. Today, I design show-stopping dessert towers, elegant dessert tables, and custom sweet displays that add a touch of magic to every occasion. While weddings remain at the heart of what I do, I also love creating for engagements, baby showers, milestone birthdays, and corporate celebrations.
