The Heart Behind Donna's Desserts
Hi, I'm Donna, the hands, heart and creative force behind Donna's Desserts. My love of baking began at just three years old, standing beside my mum in the kitchen. Her passion and creativity sparked something in me that has stayed ever since. Although she passed away in 2016, her influence lives on in everything I create. Some recipes are hers, others are inspired by her, but each carries a little of the love and joy from those early kitchen moments. In 2018, I created my first wedding desserts for my best friend, and that's where my love for dessert catering truly began. What started as a passion for baking became a love for creating something special for life's most memorable celebrations. After taking a break during COVID, I returned in 2023 with a fresh vision for Donna's Desserts. I wanted to offer something beyond the expected, beautifully handcrafted, bite-sized desserts that become part of the celebration itself. Today, I specialise in luxury dessert tables and show-stopping towers for weddings, engagements, milestone birthdays, corporate events and celebrations across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, Ballarat and surrounding regions. For me, it's about more than beautiful desserts. It's about creating an experience your guests will remember, while making the planning process relaxed, personal and enjoyable. I pride myself on being friendly, approachable and easy to work with. From our first conversation to the final setup, I want you to feel confident that your dessert experience is in good hands. I can't wait to be a little part of your next celebration.
