Donna's Story
Hi, I’m Donna — the creator behind Donna’s Desserts, specialising in bite-sized wedding desserts, dessert towers, and curated dessert tables in Geelong, Ballarat, Bannockburn & surrounds. I’ve been passionate about baking since I was three, learning alongside my mum. She always knew I wanted to start my own dessert business, and while her passing in 2016 delayed that dream, I carry her lessons with me every day — some recipes are hers, others are inspired by her, and every creation honours her love of the kitchen. My first wedding desserts were for my best friend in 2018, which sparked my love for weddings. From 2018 to 2020, I continued baking for corporate events, birthdays, and celebrations, experimenting with creative desserts and perfecting my style. After a break during COVID, I refocused in 2023 on weddings, designing show-stopping dessert tables and towers filled with bite-sized desserts that look amazing and are perfect for sharing. I specialise in creating shareable, stylish desserts that wow every guest. From chocolate bonbonnières to layered dessert towers, I make weddings memorable, indulgent, and stress-free. While weddings are my main focus, I also cater to birthday parties, engagements, showers, and other celebrations — any occasion where bite-sized desserts deserve the spotlight.
